The things that we face in life can present us with unique opportunities to grow and to heal during a time that has left us feeling hurt and out of control. I am honored to walk beside you on your journey to offer support, a new perspective and a listening ear. Together, we will work to cultivate new healthy coping skills, reshape relationships, identify personal strengths and overcome ineffective behavioral patterns to help empower you to achieve your personal goals.
Every individual has immeasurable worth and can benefit from being known and understood. I utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and Person-Centered therapy to help those who face trauma, loss, perfectionism, anxiety, depression, difficult relationships, and those who want to explore who they are.
I enjoy connecting deeply with people by providing unconditional positive regard, acceptance, insight, and hope. Through this deep connection, I strive to create a safe place to explore hardships when they arise and to help every person feel valued and supported as they strive towards growth, healing, and hope.
As a Christian Counselor, I view each person I encounter as someone made in the image of God and has a unique purpose in life. I am sensitive and open to working with clients from all different faith backgrounds and will include spirituality only if I am invited to do so by each client's request.
